Rod MacDonald -at- The Barnacle

When: 7-9 pm on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Gate opens 6 pm.
Admission: $10 Adults. $8 Members. $3 Ages 6-9. Under 6 free.

 Coconut Grove – Enjoy evenings of live entertainment by beautiful Biscayne Bay during The Barnacle under Moonlight Concert Series the second Saturday of each month, September through May. Park curbside or in one of Coconut Grove’s many lots or garages and use the Freebee shuttle service or stroll over to The Barnacle Historic State Park at 3485 Main Highway, Coconut Grove, Florida.

Enjoy acoustic pop, folk and blues melodies performed by internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, Rod MacDonald. Picnics, blankets, lawn chairs and flashlights welcome. No pets, please.

 Rod MacDonald has been a regular on the Florida music scene since the mid-1990s. A veteran of the Greenwich Village folk scene, he was a constant presence at many of New York's most prestigious folk clubs including Gerdes Folk City and the Bottom Line. He has ten solo albums to his credit and has performed with the likes of Emmylou Harris, Pete Seeger, Peter Yarrow, Richie Havens, Suzanne Vega, and the Violent Femmes.

The Barnacle Historic State Park is administered by the Florida Department of Environmental
Protection and events are sponsored by The Barnacle Society, Inc., a non-profit organization
